FOIL

A hand makes a small man out of a piece of foil. The foil man rebels against its creator and decides to it’s own thing, however he late learns that his actions have consequences.

My name is Jacob. When I was younger I used to make Lego stop motions with my friend Alex. At first I just enjoyed making Lego look like it was moving, but as I got older I started to see how editing and cinematography could be used to tell an interesting story. I used to watch an Indiana Jones film every Saturday when I was younger, so Steven Spielberg was a big influence on me. I really like how he can make a film that is very entertaining and very funny but without making it a comedy. So far I have made FOUR short films with this being the third. I am submitting it after winning the BFI film of the month competition.
